Our mission statement

Mission Statement:

We are a group of HS bloggers dedicated to sharing our knowledge about Lord of the Rings. We all love being Home~schooled and will try our best to make this a safe haven for all Lord of the Rings fans.

We are a Fellowship of the Ring… let me explain better, we are a Fellowship, yes, but we are striving to bring glory to the name of Jesus, all the while going all out about the Lord of the Rings. We would like to see the Ring as a symbol of sin. The burden Frodo/Jesus had to bear to Mount. Doom or Mount. Golgotha. We are as well trying to diminish sin/Ring.

We will try to show the love of Jesus through this blog and also show you how you can find God in the Lord of the Rings (but not replace the Bible). "May it be a light to you in dark places" may this blog enlighten you about anything that may be confusing, and may it also show you how God is working through our lives. Please email us if you would like to know or want us to post about something.

We are a Fellowship, a Fellowship of the Cross. "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." -Gandalf, tFotR

"The Quest" symbolizes our journey to the Grey Havens just like Pilgrim 's journey to the Celestial City in Pilgrim's Progress.Of course, that means we are on it for Jesus. The LOTR is so symbolic of this Quest that it is a good way to picture it. There are so many things in LOTR that are so true and will really happen at the end of the world and are even happening now. The world is changing for the worse. The final battle has yet to take place but the forces are assembling. Fortunately, we know who is going to win and we are on the winning team! May the King return quickly.

If you are truly a Lord of the Rings fan, I would encourage you to learn more about the man behind the pages. Tolkien was an extremely brilliant man and spent 14 years of his life writing these stories that we can all now enjoy. Look at the post archives to see if we have any posts about him and his connection with the Books and his real life. If you have any questions of requests, please feel free to email us and let us know what it is you are looking for.

Have a blessed day! Sincerely,

Alatariel Nienna Elanesse o Lorien, Vice President of the LotRLounge
